Max Steel Match and Destroy Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Click anywhere on the game welcome screen to start the game.
    • This will bring up the level select screen.
    • Initially only the first level of the game is available.
    • Remaining levels are unlocked by beating each level.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Move your mouse while holding in the left click button to aim your bubbles.
    • If you do not have a great placement for the current ball you can click on the ball under Max Steel to swap out which ball you are shooting.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Use your finger to touch the screen to aim and shoot the balls.
• Game Play
  • Basic
    • Match 3 orbs of the same color to remove them from the playing field.
    • You can shoot directly at the incoming orbs, or bounce your shot off the top or bottom wall.
      • Keep in mind the ball chain will keep moving while the ball you shoot is moving, so you want to lead your shot a bit to compensate for that.
    • Remove the balls which are closest to you before they make it all the way to you.
  • Ball Movement
    • The ball chain moves toward you continuously.
      • If one of the balls makes to your vertical plane it is game over.
      • If you knock out the nearby balls to where there is a big gap then the ball chain will speed up to quickly close out the gap.
    • Be sure to adjust your aim to compensate for ball movement speed.
      • The green laser is a useful guide, but the other balls will move as well, so sometimes it makes sense to hit the outside edge of a sequence or bounce the ball off the wall to ensure you do not accidentally hit a nearby ball of a different color.
  • Advanced
    • The orbs are connected to the top rail, the bottom rail, or both.
      • By knocking out the connections to the top and bottom rails you knock out the entire chain.
      • To obtain the bonus badges you need almost every shot you make to complete a set of 3 on the top or bottom rail, knocking off the remaining chain.
    • If they color you are shooting does not have a clean placement you can click on the ball underneath Max Steel to shoot that color first.
    • Each level has a bonus badge you can earn by beating the level within a certain number of shots.
      • The first level requires you beat it in 10 shots to get the bonus badge.
      • The final level requires you beat it in 19 shots to get the bonus badge.
      • Swapping ball colors does not count as a shot, but every time you shoot a ball it does count as a shot.
      • If you make a mistake click the pause button in the upper right corner and then click the replay level button in the center of the pause screen menu to start again.
      • Each of the 10 levels are different from one another, but each time you play a particular level it has the exact same ball configuration on the playing field and you are sent the same colored balls in the same sequence.
