The art of the game was inspired by the works of Maurits Cornelis Escher (1898-1972). He was a Dutch graphic artist known for creating surreal images that rely on geometry to play tricks with the mind. Some of his most famous works include the themes of metamorphosis, wherein patterns gradually transform into altogether different images.
The art of this game is inspired by his paradoxical surreal pieces. The result are impossible objects, structures that cannot work in real life as presented.
