How to Play

Observe the tiles in the pattern they light up and match the pattern exactly, finishing each level before the timer runs out.

  • Starting the Game
    • Select the PLAY button on the game loading screen. This will bring up the game welcome screen.
      • Select the green PLAY button to play in regular mode, or select the pink HARD button to play in hard mode.
      • The upper left corner of the welcome screen has a how to play button & the upper right corner has a music control button.
      • Your web browser automatically saves your high score for each play mode.
  • Game Controls
    • Desktop
      • Use your mouse left click button to select the tiles the game selected in the same exact order.
    • Touchscreen devices
      • Tap the screen with a finger to select tiles.
    • Controls & indicators
      • Your game score shows in the upper left corner of the screen.
      • A meter across the top of the game shows how much time you have remaining.
      • The lower left corner of the screen contains a button to return to the welcome screen & the lower right corner of the game has a button for turning game sound on or off.
  • Game Play
    • Levels
      • The game starts off with a small board size with large tiles & only a couple sounds tiles you need to follow.
      • As the game advances the tile sizes get smaller and the number of tiles you have to match goes up.
    • Strategy
      • Not all tiles are the same shape & size. Not all rows and columns are completely full of tiles.
      • Use the variations in level design to help establish mental cues of which tiles were in what order.
      • You can also remember the relationship between selected tiles in position placement so that you remember where the later tiles are located based on the earlier tiles.
    • Scoring
      • Tile matches are worth 50 each on easy mode.
      • Tile matches are worth 100 each on hard mode.
    • Difficulty
      • The timing meter moves faster in hard mode.
      • The first couple levels on either mode seem quite easy, but the difficulty level ramps fast to where the game is quite difficult by level 8 to 12.
      • Hard mode is difficult in part based on the speed at which you must select tiles moreso than it being harder to remember where the tiles are located.
  • Target Audience
    • The game is suited for people of all ages who like memory practice games.
    • The game has no adult themed content.
