This is a stone or gem merging game where you merge together two gems with the same number on them to create the next increment higher. You repeat the process trying to make you way to 30, but it takes superhuman skill & a bit of luck to get past about 20.
- Select a gem and drag it to a gem of the same value to merge them.
- In between merge opportunities you can also move gems around to improve your organization.
- Some gems are chained to other gems & you need to push a merge into one of the chained gems so that you can move them independent of one another.

How to Play
Repeatedly merge gems of the same value trying to make your way up to the number 30.
- Starting the Game
- Click the button on the welcome screen next to the miner pickaxe to start the game.
- The welcome screen also has an information button in the upper right corner and a sound control button in the lower right corner.
- Your web browser automatically saves your progress & all-time high score.
- After you advance beyond certain points in the game you can choose to start from those numbers by selecting them at the bottom of the screen.
- The options start at 5 and go up in increments of 5 to 25.
- Game Controls
- Desktop
- Use your mouse left click to select a gem and drag it into another gem which has the same number to pair them together.
- You can also drag gems to other positions if they are in your way and you do not need to make a pair to be able to move a gem.
- Mobile
- The game has a pause button in the upper left corner. When the game is paused you can click to continue, restart, control sound, or start back at the game home screen.

- Scoring
- You score points based on how many pairs you make. Each merge earns points.
- Timer
- Underneath the score there is a timing meter which counts down.
- When it reaches zero a new line emerges from the bottom of the playing field pushing the current gems on the playing field upward.
- Moving gems
- You can move a gem from the top of any stack so long as it is not chained to another gem and there is an open space to move it to.
- An open space indicates the gem is the top gem on the stack and there is clear space above it, or there is clear space to either the left or right side.
- You can also slide adjacent gems into one another provided they have the same value and they will merge.
- Chained pairs
- If it is chained to another gem you will have to move them as a pair.
- The only way to break a chained pair is to match at least one end of it with another gem.
- You typically have to smash another gem into the chained pair rather than the other way around.
- Game over
- The playing field is 6 gems wide by 8 gems tall, for a maximum of 48 gems appearing on the board.
- Whenever any column reaches the top of the screen and then the screen moves once more to where that gem breaches the ceiling it is game over.
- Strategy
- Try to keep a couple columns open so you have more flexibility with moving other pieces across columns into positions at various height levels.
- Anytime there is a chained piece try to break the chain as soon as you possibly can. As chained pieces pile up they dramatically lower your mobility and play options.
- Three minor game bugs
- If you merge a pair of gems right as the new line of gems rises in some rare cases it may merge both of those gems into the third one underneath it and give that a value of one above the value of the bottom tone.
- Typically chained gems move as a pair. After playing for hours one time the chain pair stayed in place floating above the gems underneath them that I broke. Placing another gem underneath them and then moving it caused the stack to fall.
- If you are carrying a piece near the very top of the screen when the screen moves up a square it may cause your piece to bump the ceiling even if the other pieces are far below it.
- Target Audience
- This game is fun for logic puzzle players of all ages.
- This game does not contain any adult topics.
