- Game Play
- Strategy & Play
- If you are new to minesweeper play a smaller board size and have a lower mine density.
- Larger boards take longer to complete.
- Boards with a higher mine density are harder.
- The first click or two is going to be a guess no matter what.
- The odds of that initial guess blowing up on you equates to the percent of cells which are bombs. If 10% of cells have mines then you have a 1 in 10 chance of the initial click blowing up.
- After the initial board reveal, boards with a low mine density can typically be figured out with math by using the numbers revealed.
- If you see the number 1 adjacent to a flagged cell (& the flag is correct) it means no other adjacent cells have a bomb.
- You can do similar logical deductions for a number two near 2 flags.
- Similarly, if you see a number with fewer mines marked than the number shown and only one cell is still covered that cell is likely a mine.
- Boards with a higher mine density require guessing. In some cases corners of the board also require a bit of guessing even on lower difficulty levels because you only have data from a few sides.
- To beat the game you must correctly flag all mine positions and uncover all cells where there is not a mine.
- When your game ends click on the emoticon at the top center of the screen to replay again.
- Target Audience
- Minesweeper fans of all ages should like this game.
- The game has no adult themed content.
