  • Pick a habitat from the selection screen.
    • There are four habitats to choose from
      • Fjord
      • Forest
      • River
      • Marsh
    • Each habitat is home to 3 animal species you can photograph.
      • Fjord
        • Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus)
        • Sea Otter (Enhydra lutris)
        • Horned Puffin (Fratercula corniculata)
      • Forest
        • Northern flying squirrel (Glaucomys sabrinus yukonensis)
        • Boreal owl (Aegolius funereus)
        • Red fox (Vulpes vulpes)
      • River
        • American bison (Bison bison)
        • Grizzly bear (Ursus arctos horribilis)
        • King salmon (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha)
      • Marsh
        • Moose (Alces alces)
        • American beaver (Castor canadensis)
        • Sandhill crane (Grus canadensis)
    • Select the species’ icon to view the species in its natural habitat.
  • Take a picture
    • Molly needs to take pictures of animals doing specific things according to Nina’s description.
    • Often, it’s a matter of waiting for the animals to cycle through their behaviors.
    • Capture them at the right moment to proceed to the notebook.
    • You can take as many or as few photographs as you want, as long as a photo of the animal in question is included.
  • The notebook
    • After taking pictures, you can paste the picture that best matches the caption.
    • You can do one of two things afterward.
      • Tag the animals’ features.
        • To tag it, simply click on the animal’s features.
        • Move the tags around if you want the animal to resemble its
      • Draw an image of the animal that best matches the caption.
        • Select a color on the left side of the screen.
        • Draw with your mouse or your fingers.
        • Use the slider on the right side of the screen to see the picture you took. This is so you can trace over it if you want.
    • You can access Molly’s notebook on the lower right corner of the screen.
