Mr. Bean Backyard Junk Animated Yard Cleaning Game Play Instructions
How to Play
Pick up trash while avoiding getting hit by lawn mowers or other enemies.
- Starting the Game
- Click or tap on the “Play” button on the game’s welcome screen.
- You could also read the instructions on “How to Play” button underneath the “Play” button, but I would like to think Mr. Bean would play first and maybe only then read instructions.
- Game Controls
- The game begins with old landlady Mrs. Julia Wicket telling Mr. Bean to clean up this mess. Click your mouse or tap the screen where you want Mr. Bean to appear.
- Drag your finger across the screen or move the mouse to direct Mr. Bean toward the trash.
- Avoid getting hit by mowers and other enemies.
- Strategy
- This game starts off easy like a game made for little children, but quickly increases in difficulty by the third level. It is hard to overstate how annoying Scrapper is in this game. 😀
- Trash appears in various locations throughout the level and you have to pick up around 10 pieces to defeat each level.
- Sample level enemies from early levels
- First level: two moving lawn mowers and a stationary manhole
- Second level: two lawn mowers and a stationary frog who shoots balls straight
- Third level: two lawn mowers, a frog, a manhole, and Scrapper who chases you around the leel
- Fourth level: a manhole, a frog, two lawnmowers, and Scrapper
- Fifth level: a manhole, two frogs, Scrapper, and a lawnmower
- Play tips
- When the level starts you get to choose when to place your character in the field of play and where to place Mr. Bean
- Generally it is ideal to lay your character near a piece of trash which is far away from Scrapper.
- You start each game with a total of 4 lives. If you are hit you die, and you once again get a choice of when and where to lay your character.
- When picking up trash it is best to do so after opening up a significant gap between you and Scrapper as it takes a bit of time to pick up the trash and Scrapper can catch up to you when you do that.
- Scrapper is generally quicker and better at moving diagonally than you are and can do things like walk over manholes.
- You fall through manholes and can only really open up a big gap between you and Scrapper by running a good bit in a straight line.
- Avoid relying on precise hit detection in this game. Sometimes you an miss a piece of trash that it seems like you it, while other times it seems like an enemy that should not have hit you somehow did.
- Score bonus points and get a bonus item by picking up 5 consecutive pieces of trash.
- Click or tap on the bomb picture to lay a bomb where you are standing.
