Basic rules
Your character automatically moves forward.
Once she sees a mummy, she will automatically shoot.
Usually, there’s enough distance from the time you spot the mummy to shoot it down completely (unless you were changing which vertical plane you were on while the mummy was in the screen & you do not have the bazooka equipped).
If the mummy gets too close, jump over them.
Hop onto the platforms.
There are 2 layers of platforms to jump up or down.
We recommend hopping up or down when no mummy is visible. This will give you ample time to shoot any that appear later.
Short taps will have you jump down, while double taps will have you double jump and make it up to the next platform above.
Jump over obstacles.
Obstacles come in two flavors: spike pillars and large blocks with inscriptions (stelae).
The end result is the same if you collide with either of them – game over.
Keep going for as long as you can.
The game ends when you crash into a mummy or an obstacle.
Weapons upgrades
Pick up as many coins as you can.
The mummies you killed will be converted to coins after each game over.
After each game over, the coins you collect is added to your total. This can be viewed on the shop screen.
Select the shop button to open the shop screen.
From the shop, you can upgrade your guns.
Upgraded guns shoot faster and cause more damage.
They take out the mummies sooner.
You can switch between unlocked weapons at any time.
There are 2 guns you can unlock.
The default submachine gun comes unlocked and takes out mummies in about 7 shots.
The machine gun costs 150 and takes out mummies in about 4 or 5 shots.
The bazooka costs 500 and takes out mummies in a single shot.
The better guns make it easier to travel further in the game since you need fewer hits to take out mummies.
Target Audience
The game is suited for players who like shooting runner games.
The player automatically shoots a gun, the mummies show blood or are singed when shot, and the game shows a red blood overlay when you run into a dangerous obstacle.
Other than the above the game has no adult themed content.
Those Columns Look Weird
Observant and knowledgeable gamers may note the appearance of the columns, which appear Greek rather than Egyptian. Now, we shouldn’t expect historical authenticity from any cartoon game, but this one detail is funnily enough based on fact. Egypt was conquered by Alexander the Great, and much later one of his generals, Ptolemy, became the new Pharaoh of Egypt. During his family’s rule, Greek and Egyptian culture blended together as Greek and Macedonian settlers came to Egypt.
Ptolemy’s descendants ruled Egypt for 275 years. His family includes the famous Cleopatra VII. Learn more about his family from this video.
