Mushroom Pop Chain Reaction Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Tap anywhere on the game loading screen to bring up the game welcome screen.

    • The upper left corner of the game shows how many moves you have remaining.
    • The upper right corner of the game shows your current level number.

• Game Play
  • Mushroom types
    • Some mushrooms have arrows on them. Mushrooms with an arrow shoot only in the direction the arrow points.
    • Mushrooms without an arrow shoot in all 4 directions when popped.
    • Smaller mushrooms need hit to enlarge to full size before they can pop.
      • Mini mushrooms need enlarged once before you can pop them.
      • Mushroom balls need to be enlarged twice before you can pop them.
      • Mushroom dots need to be enlarged three times before you can pop them.
    • Purple mushrooms holding a bomb blow up adjacent cells including those which are diagonal.
      • They take a hit point from each cell rather than obliterating whatever is in the cells.
    • Rocks block shots.
  • Levels
    • This game has 75 levels which must be completed sequentially.
    • You are given a star rating based on how many attempts it takes to beat a level.
      • 1 or 2 attempts = 3 stars
      • 3 to 5 attempts = 2 stars
      • 6 or more attempts = 1 star
    • You can go back and replay previously completed levels to try to earn a higher star rating on them.
      • If you beat a level and are frustrated trying to get a higher star rating on it then just skip it and come back to it later.
  • Strategy
    • Chain order matters. Sometimes you have to start in an unexpected spot before setting other parts of chain reaction off by making a smaller mushroom larger so that it can continue a future chain.
    • When in doubt where to start it is often best to pop a mushroom where there are a couple large mushrooms in a row so that you set off a chain reaction of popping.
