New Looney Tunes Gone Fishin’ Idle Clicker Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Click on the play button at the bottom center corner of the welcome screen to start.
  • You immediately begin in a lake with Bugs Bunny.
    • Click on the start fishing button to have Bugs cast a line.
    • The game will leave a message telling you to be patient.
  • The game will provide tutorial messages as you play the game.
    • You can also review the instructions again by pausing the game.
  • The game automatically saves your progress and achievements to your browser.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use the mouse left click button to reel in fish, click on background events, and activate power ups.
  • Mobile
    • Use your finger to tap on the screen like a mouse.
  • The game has two buttons in the upper left corner to view your fish records and task completion history.
  • The upper right corner has a pause button which brings up how to play instructions along with buttons to turn sound off, go back to the game’s welcome screen, or resume play.
  • At the bottom of the screen there are 4 different buttons of rod and hat power ups.
    • You can only use one at a time.
    • If no buttons are there it means you are currently using a power up & its status meter is in green in the lower left corner.
    • If the buttons are there but are gray rather than colorful that means you do not have any inventory. If you have a power up in inventory the button will be colored and it will state how many of that item you have in stock.
• Game Play
  • Begin the game by casting a line. After that, it’s a waiting game until your hook finds a fish.
    • Bugs Bunny will do random things in the interim.
    • There’s not much else to do but wait in between bites.
    • Click on the environment to see animations.
  • When you do get a bite, click on Bugs rapidly.
    • You will see a balloon with an exclamation point near Bugs Bunny’s boat.
      • The more exclamation points there are, the heavier the fish or item is.
    • On the right corner, you will see a meter showing how close the fish or item is from the surface.
    • Keep clicking until Bugs retrieves the fish (or item) from the water.
  • Collectibles
    • Bugs Bunny can collect two things: fish and junk items.
      • Fish are your main goal.
      • On occasion, you might collect pieces of junk. The game praises you for going green.
    • Some items you collect will be power ups. These will help increase your chances of finding bigger fish or pieces of junk.
      • Each power up has a one-time use and is only active for a brief time.
      • To get a new power up, fish one up again.
      • You can store multiple of each power up type, but it does not make much sense to use them because you frequently get them & you can only use one type of power up at a time.
    • Power ups
      • Fish hat: red hat with a yellow feather which increases your chance of catching a fish.
      • Eco hat: purple hat which increases your chance of catching junk.
      • Strong rod: Silver weight which increases your chance of catching heavier fish.
      • Glowing rod: Golden lure which increases the chances of your catching powers.
  • Achievements and collectibles
    • On the top left corner of the game, you will see a book icon and a trophy icon. The book icon shows a catalogue of your catches. These include the species of the fish you’ve caught and the size of the largest one you’ve fished.
      • You can catch up to 19 species of fish and other aquatic animals.
      • The catalogue also saves the type of objects you found in the water.
      • The trophy icon shows all the achievement’s you’ve collected over the course of the game. You can accomplish 10 achievements overall.
        • First catch: catch your first fish
        • That’s Heavy!: break your first weight record
        • Empty Handed: fish and find nothing for the first time
        • Splashing Around: splash the surface of the water 50 times
        • Get Ribbit: scare away frogs 20 times
        • Shoo Flies: shoo away dragonflies 30 times
        • Tried The All: tried using all four consumables
        • Gotta Fish Them All: caught all 19 fish types
        • All Caught Up: catch all 27 possible items in the lake
        • Master Fisher: break all fishing weight records on each of the 19 fish species

  • This game is suited for all audiences and for fans of the newest Looney Tunes show.
    • The game is rather simple and repetitive, so it is probably best for younger kids.
