- Press the R key to restart the current level.
- Touchscreen devices
- This game was designed primarily for desktop play.
- Controls & indicators
- The upper left corner of the game shows how many shots you can carry and how many of them remain. Your shots refill each time you stand on solid ground.
- Game Play
- Levels
- This game has 10 levels.
- Each level has a different layout & a different gravity strength.
- Each time you beat a level go back to your ship and give Elliott an orb and he will give you one more shot.
- You can beat the levels in any order.
- Typically you start at the top of the ship & slightly left then work your way clockwise around the ship, but you can skip a level if it frustrates you & you can complete levels in any order (provided you have enough firepower to make it through harder levels).
- Dying
- You die if any enemy hits you, you move off screen, or if you touch any sharp object.
- This game offers an unlimited number of continues & you start each level at its beginning if you die.
- Blocks
- Some blocks near the orbs can be destroyed by shooting them.
- Some blocks floating in space can be stood on, though fall when you stand on them.
- Shoot these blocks into position while you are standing on solid ground so that they provide you optimal placement to make it through the level.
- Enemies
- Most enemies only take a single shot to hit, but some take 2 or 3 hits.
- The best way to beat enemies is to pick them apart and deal with them one at a time.
- If you fall into an area with many enemies consider using the arrow keys to run hard to one side so you have some distance between you and them and keep firing.
- Try to land on solid ground just before an area with enemies so that you are not flying uncontrollably in space with few bullets when you encounter them.
- Your gun has a recoil that kicks you backward. Be cautious for not shooting yourself into spikes when you shoot enemies.
- Shooting
- Managing ammo inventory
- Each time you shoot while on solid ground your bullets immediately reload.
- When you shoot while floating in space you use one of your bullets.
- If you run out of bullets while floating in space then you land wherever your momentum takes you.
- If you need to make it past a lot of spikes try to begin your journey near the edge of a ledge so you limit how far you have to travel.
- Look at the gravity information for each level and test using your gun for propulsion where the level is easy so that you are well acclimated when you get to the harder part of that level.
- In this game you shoot for everything: propulsion, destroying enemies, breaking blocks near orbs, moving blocks into position, and activating switches.
- Orbs
- Each level has an orb in it.
- After collecting the orb you have to return it to the beam of light near where you started the level to exit the planet.
- Be sure to visit your brother on the spaceship after collecting each orb & before going to the next planet so you keep powering up your ammo capacity.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for people of all ages who like pixelated retro games or simple platforming games.
- The game has no adult themed content.
