Odd Squad Agent Academy Game for Kids Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the large play button below the title to begin.
  • The game is narrated. The voiceover acts as a tutorial.

    • Using the mouse, left click to select and move.
    • Use the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard to dodge.
  • Touchscreen devices

• Game Play
  • Character creation
    • Start off by creating your agent.
      • Choose between the following details
        • 8 hairstyles
        • 4 hair colors
        • 4 skin tones
        • 2 eye options
        • 4 different glasses styles
      • Grow your uniform
        • Select one of 4 department uniforms from the top row.
          • Investigation
          • Science and gadgets
          • Creature care and control
          • Mobile unit
        • Grow the uniform in 1 gallon of water.
          • Choose which smaller unit you need to make a gallon.
            • 4 quarts
            • 8 pints
            • 16 cups
          • Using the dispenser, add the required number of units to form a gallon.
            • Select the button to add 1 unit of water.
            • Keep adding water until you fill the container exactly.
            • Once you’re done, select the arrow button on the center left corner to proceed.
      • Pick up a weapon.
        • Select the weapon (a green and white sci fi gun) by matching the coordinates of the claw machine.
        • To change coordinates, move the selection via the letter and number buttons on the sides of the field.
          • If the weapon is in B3, move the selection to the letter B and the 3
          • The current selection is shown on the screen on the right side of the field.
        • Once you’ve located the weapon, select the green Go button to pick it up
        • Select the arrow button on the center left corner to proceed to the simulation.
  • The simulation
    • Avoiding obstacles
      • Move left and right to avoid the obstacles in your path.
      • These include tar pits, traffic cones, fire hydrants, snails, and various things called “oddness” (creepy princesses, trolls, tentacle pits).
      • Hitting these obstacles will slow you down.
    • Power ups
      • Collecting powerups will help you breeze past the obstacles and oddness on your path.
      • You have four powerups to choose from:
        • Jetpack: lets you fly over obstacles.
        • Fluff potion: turns all obstacles into harmless pink fluff. Yes, even the holes.
        • Van: removes all the obstacles in the way.
        • Disco ball: enemies and somehow physical obstacles get groovy and forget to impede you.
    • Defeating the boss
      • Collect components for your weapon to fire at the boss robot.
      • You must collect the weapons in the proper numerical order.
        • This order can be ascending or descending. Pay attention.
        • The numbered parts can come in multiples of 1 or 2.
        • An out-of-order component cannot be collected and is basically an obstacle.
      • You must fire your weapon 3 times to defeat the boss.
      • Once you defeat the boss, you’ve completed the game.
        • Select the replay button on the right side of the screen to start again if you want.
