• Starting the Game
  • Select the play button on the bottom center corner of the welcome screen to begin.
  • Choose between single- and 2-player modes.
  • Pick which mobile unit faction to play.
  • The game has voiceover narration, which will serve as its tutorial.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Using the mouse, left click to select and navigate.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers to navigate and select.

  • Interface
    • The central bar lets you add motion commands.
    • The button on the bottom left allows you to activate any of the powers you’ve collected.
    • The home button on the upper left corner returns you to the welcome screen.
    • The play button is located on the lower right corner of the screen.
  • Basics
    • To win the round, collect all three artifact pieces before your opponents do.
    • Pick a direct to go from the bottom of the screen, then select the play button.
      • Each move will take you one space at a time.
        • To change the direction of the move, select it until it shows the desired direction.
        • You can change the directions as many times as you like before hitting play.
        • The screen will show you the route you’ll be taking.
        • You can have up to five moves per turn.
      • Each time you collect an artifact fragment, the playing field changes.
      • If you occupy the same position as your opponent, your van will be bumped off to another part of the playing field.
    • Once you’ve collected all 3 of the pieces, move toward the artifact activation button to clear the stage.
  • Advanced navigation
    • In later levels, you can use the repeat button to move the van by the same pattern of steps twice.
      • If the repeat leads to a red spot that doesn’t work that is fine provided you reached the goal before running into the red spot.
    • You can find the repeat button at the right end corner of the move bar.
  • Hazards and power ups
    • Strewn across the later levels are obstacles
      • Jam rivers: You cannot cross these without rockets.
      • Tornados: These will knock you off course. Some tornadoes move, so it’s best to move away from them.
      • Rock candy: These will often block your only path and cannot be surmounted without drills.
      • Jam: You will get stuck in these, preventing you from using your remaining moves.
    • Power ups
      • These are essential to crossing major obstacles like jam rivers and rock candy.
        • Rockets: Allows your van to fly over jam rivers and jam puddles.
        • Drill: Lets your van bust through rock candy.
      • You can switch between the power ups using the power button on the right.
      • Once you collect a power up on a level, you can play them throughout the game.
  • Player modes
    • Single-player mode
      • The single-player campaign consists of 3 stages.
      • Each stage must be won in sequence.
    • Multiplayer
      • Take turns playing against a human opponent.
      • You will use the same controls.
  • Strategy
    • Keep moving.
      • You don’t need to use all your moves in a single turn, but it pays to do so.
      • Using up all your turns will help you bypass some of the obstacles before the manifest.
    • Often, it’s a choice between picking the shortest path and the safest one.
      • Safer paths are often longer, but are easier to cross if you don’t have the appropriate power.
      • It’s often better to take the shorter path and bear the penalty than to go the long way.
      • Whenever possible, collect the power up first.
    • Repeating paths
      • Creating a repeating path will give you up to twice as many moves in a single turn.
      • If the path is clear, you can use the repeat option to get you to your goals faster.
      • If there are any obstacles in the way, make sure you activate them before pressing play.
