Odd Squad Sector 21: Map Reading Navigation Game
on the second level the game plays on as normal as with the first level, but I notice missing audio files. In the end, once I do find the creature, all the options in the bottom row disappear and it doesn’t load the level selection menu. The card that pops out in the first level doesn’t appear, either, as is the audio that should come with it. The subtitles still play. I tried it with two of the three levels that appear after the first level is completed.
The Odd Squad calls on you to help them explore the secret Sector 21 and discover all sorts of weird creatures. Luckily, they also have maps of the area. This game will introduce young children to the concept of reading and navigating with maps.

How to Play
Navigate Sector 21 and use the Find-i-nator to track down the weird creatures that inhabit the region.
- Starting the Game
- On the welcome screen, select the play button below the title to begin.
- A cutscene explaining the game’s premise will play before the game starts.
- Select the skip button on top of the screen to move onto the game.
- Unlike other games, the cutscene in this game is in live action.
- The game’s narration provides much of the instructions for the game’s controls.
- The first level acts as a tutorial to much of the game.

- Choose any of the available levels to find the creatures.
- Only one level is unlocked at the start of the game.
- Complete the first level to unlock the next ones.
- Select a previous level’s icon to replay it or find out more about the creature encountered there..
- Navigating
- Select any part of the ground to move.
- You can pass through most bushes and plants.
- You cannot pass through trees, water, and rocks.
- To cross water, use bridges.
- Using the map
- Select the map icon on the lower left corner of the screen to view the map.
- Learn what each of the images on the map represent through the key on the left hand corner.
- Go to the location highlighted in the map to find the creatures.
- Finding the creature
- Go to the areas inhabited by the creatures.
- The map will show which landmark the creature might be hiding.
- Levels with several creatures will have several landmarks. However, only one landmark will be highlighted at any given time.
- Follow the audio instructions to position yourself at the right spot to find the creature.
- Select the button on the lower left corner to activate your Find-i-nator.
- The creature will appear a few moments afterward.
- Find all the creatures shown in the map to clear the clear the level.
- After you find the creature, it’s picture will appear onscreen.
- Select anywhere to close the photograph.
- Go to the areas inhabited by the creatures.
