Olaf the Viking Running Game for Kids Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game

    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Only the first level is playable at the very start of the game.
    • All levels you unlock are playable at any time. You can replay prior completed levels to try to earn a higher star rating.
      • Beating a level is good for 1 star.
      • Getting 75% of the coins on a level is good for 2 stars.
      • You have to collect at least 99% of the coins on a level to earn a 3-star rating.
  • Basic moves
    • Jump to go from platform to platform.
    • Avoid hitting spikes.
    • Avoid falling into the icy water.
    • Clear the level by reaching the rock at the very end.
  • Scoring
    • You get 50 points for every coin you collect.
    • The longer you play, the higher your score.
    • Your star rating for the level depends on the number of coins you collected.
  • Dying
    • You die if you fall into the water or run into a spike.
    • You get unlimited continues. When you continue you retain the score you had coming into the current level (rather than the score you had when you died on the current level).
  • Tips
    • The length of time you click determines how high you jump and how long you are in the air.
    • In some cases you have to skip over platforms and make longer jumps.
    • Sometimes if the next platform is vertically beneath you it makes sense to fall onto it so you can quickly jump rather than jumping onto it and perhaps not being able to jump again before running into spikes.
