Planet Conqueror Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Left click or tap anywhere to load the welcome screen.
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button at the center to begin.
  • Select the speaker button on the top right corner to turn the game’s audio on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
• Game Controls

    • With your mouse, left click to shoot the rockets.

    • Tap on the screen with your fingers to shoot the rockets.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Top row (left to right):
      • Home button: Exits the level and returns you to the level selection screen
      • Reset button: Starts the level from the beginning
      • Level number
      • Speaker button
    • Bottom left corner:
      • Remaining rockets, including the one you are currently firing.
• Game Play
  • Levels
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
      • Only the first level is playable at the start of the game.
      • Finish one level to unlock the next.
    • You can replay any of the levels you’ve unlocked.
      • There are 32 levels in this game.
    • As you progress through the levels more obstacles are added.
      • Initially you only have to worry about hitting your other rockets.
      • Then there are towers on the planets. Within each planet sequence the number of towers increases each time you beat a level on that planet.
      • Asteroids appear, then later multiple sets of asteroids rotating at different speeds.
      • Finally, an alien spaceship appears which moves along the bottom of the screen.
      • Level 32 has 8 communications towers, 3 asteroids, and a spaceship.
  • Basic rules
    • Launch rockets onto the surface of a rotating planet.
      • Wait patiently for a clear patch of the planet’s surface to appear.
      • None of the rockets may hit each other.
      • Avoid hitting the communication towers already on the planet’s surface.
      • Avoid hitting the spaceships and asteroids.
    • Once you’ve landed all the rockets on the planet’s surface, you’ve cleared the level.
      • If any rocket does not land you lose the level.
      • This game is patterned after knife throwing games where players throw knives into a rotating piece of wood. On most of those games when you lose it is game over, but this game allows you to replay whichever level you lost on.
  • Tips
    • Since you can restart a failed level immediately again sometimes it can make sense to be aggressive and fire a rocket or two right as the level starts.
    • The spaceship moves slower in the center of the screen and faster on the outer edges. It makes sense to fire rockets after the spaceship crosses the centerline so you can focus on only tracking the communication towers and the asteroids.
