How to Play
Catch the convicts in the halls of the penitentiary before the timer runs out.

- Select How to Play to read about the game’s premise and its controls.

- Levels
- Levels are unlocked in sequence. Only the first level is playable at the start of the game.

- Navigating the level
- To climb up the penitentiary, you must use the elevators or the escalators.
- Escalators only go up.
- Elevators go up and down, but need you to enter and exit them. They stop at all the floors.
- Both methods of climbing are time-consuming. Choose your method of ascent wisely.
- Catching the convict
- You have 60 seconds to capture the convict. The timer is shown on the top center of the screen.
- Move up the levels and climb up to capture the escaped convict.
- The convict will run erratically around the level, but will usually try to ascend to get away from you.
- Once you make contact with the convict, you’ve won the level.
- Lives and hazards
- Dodging hazards
- You only have one defense against hazards and that is by jumping over them.
- If you touch any of the hazards, you lose a life.
- Lives
- You have 3 lives in this game. Lose all 3 and you fail the level.
- Your lives are shown on the top left corner of the screen.
- Moving enemies
- Moving enemies just keep on coming. These include viruses and shopping carts.
- To avoid them, you must often jump while you’re still a considerable distance away, depending on how far they are
- Bonfires
- Bonfires are stationary hazards. They do not approach you.
- Collecting cash
- Win extra points by picking up the sacks of cash that the escaping convicts leave behind.
- Each bag of money is worth 1,000 extra points.
- The points you make carry over with each level.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like chasing platformer games.
- The game does have a police officer with a gun, though it is a game of chase & he does not fire the weapon.
