- Tips and tricks
- Take it easy
- Your shots should be a balance of strength and finesse.
- Don’t shoot too hard lest you pocket the cue ball by accident.
- Shots that aren’t too strong will also help you avoid pocketing your opponent’s ball.
- Gentle shots also make sure that the cue ball doesn’t stray into an awkward part of the table.
- Consider the angle of the ball.
- Try to shoot the ball in an angle that brings it closer to the pockets.
- This can be tricky from a long distance.
- Sometimes the ball bounces off the hole and avoids falling in.
- Other tips
- Think outside the box. Sometimes the direct path isn’t always the best one.
- If you can’t pocket a ball in your turn, consider making a shot that puts the cue in a more awkward position. This can make things harder for your opponent on their turn.
