How to Play
Set your shot angle then pull back and release to set the shot strength to sink each of the 15 balls in the pockets. Games are timed with a 90 second limit and a 5 second bonus for each made shot.
- Starting the Game
- Click anywhere on the game loading screen to begin the game.
- Select the big PLAY button on the lower part of the screen.
- The homepage of the game also has a settings button in the upper right corner which allows you to turn music on and off.
- Game Controls
- In the upper left corner of the screen there is a hamburger menu button which can be used to turn audio on or off, or to restart the game if you got a bad break.
- Mouse
- Set your cursor on the screen to aim your shot based upon the cue ball guideline as well as the line of the ball the cue will hit.
- Click to set the angle and then pull back toward the stick and release to set your shot strength.
- There is also a picture of the cue ball in the upper right corner of the game you can use for setting your English on the shot, however time being so limited makes it hard to use the game at that level of granularity without running out of time.
- Touchscreen
- Use your finger like a mouse.
- Scoring Points
- Each pocketed ball is worth 50 points and adds 5 seconds to the remaining time.
- If you accidentally pocket the cue ball you lose 20 points. The cue ball then rolls out of the opposite pocket and eats more time while slowly rolling to a stop.
- If you pocket all balls with time remaining then you get a bonus rack to break.
- You start the bonus round with the same amount of time remaining as you had left when you finished the initial table.
- The bonus round also uses the same point system with 5 seconds added for each ball you sink.
- Strategy
- Your goal is to clear the table of striped and solid balls.
- You can knock in the balls in any order.
- Time is your main enemy in this game.
- You are not competing against another player and you do not get penalized for missing shots other than eating the time it took for the balls to move on the table.
- With the above in mind, it makes sense to take sure shots which are short & if you are uncertain how hard to hit it is better to hit a bit soft than to hit a bit hard as a softer shot will mean the balls come to a rest sooner and you can hit again sooner.
- Try to hit the break almost dead center and knock a couple balls in off the break. This will mean you still have about 90 seconds left when the balls come to rest and have fewer balls to hit in.
