- This game has 80 stages & the difficulty level ramps quickly, with level 9 having a moving platform, level 13 having hot air that needs to redirect your spike, and levels 14 and 16 requiring your spike to be redirected by multiple layers of hot air.
- Goals
- Pop all the balloons in the maze in a single move using a spiked ball.
- Pull away from the desired direction to fire the ball to where you want it to go.
- Direct the spiked ball to the entrance of the maze.
- Make sure that the ball bounces around the maze to take out all the balloons inside.
- If the spiked ball fails to pop them all, you fail the level.
- You will also fail if the spiked ball fails to reach any of the balloons.
- Strategy
- This game requires patience as you can’t easily predict multiple consecutive ricochets, particularly if the spike is either bouncing off a moving platform or has to pass through air which blows it.
- Moving platforms
- If a platform is too high you may not be able to jump onto it & if it is too low you may not be able to make the next jump off of it.
- Keep track of where the platform is when you release & use that to adjust your shot timing on subsequent shots.
- Hot air boxes
- When passing through the hot air boxes your horizontal speed through them determines how much time you spend in them & thus how much they alter your trajectory. If your shot keeps ending high or low you may need to speed up or slow down your shot.
- Some levels have many consecutive hot air boxes. If you are struggling timing a triple shot see if there is a way to get a double shot.
- Some hot air boxes require you hit balloons that are under a platform, then flow up with enough force to hit a balloon above another platform. To nail these shots you must get angle and shot strength almost perfect.
- Minimizing variables
- If you are fairly certain you can make a full strength shot that can beat the level then keep the shot strength full from shot to shot so you are only changing a single variable at a time (the shot angle).
- If you change multiple variables at a time it only compounds the odds of failure, particularly if there is an additional variable like the timing of a moving platform.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like challenging physics puzzle games.
- The game has no adult themed content.
