Poptris Breaker Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • The game is immediately playable once it loads. Left click or tap anywhere onscreen to begin.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.

    • With your mouse, left click on the blocks to remove them.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the groups of blocks with your fingers to remove them.
  • Controls and indicators:
    • Top left corner:
      • Speaker button: Turns the game’s audio on or off.
    • Top right corner:
      • Score
• Game Play
  • Select a block or group of identical blocks to remove them.
    • Blocks count as touching if they are adjacent vertically or horizontally, though diagonally does not count.
    • If you form a group of 3 or more as you remove blocks, you can set off a chain reaction where those other blocks will also be removed.
  • Each time you click or tap, another row of 4 blocks appears at the bottom of the screen.
    • Over time, the stack will slowly rise unless you remove more blocks by either making large matches, setting off combo moves, or using your power ups to clear out many tiles at once.
    • The game will end if you let any column in the stack go above the dotted line on the top row.
  • As you play, you’ll unlock a set of power ups.
    • You can use these power ups every 200 points
    • The first power up, which shows up after 200 points, allows you to stop the block tower from growing for 3 moves.
    • After earning 400 points, you can remove 3 rows as an alternate power up.
    • A third power up allows you to remove all tiles of a particular color.
    • Your power ups stack, meaning you can carry multiple of each in your inventory.
  • Keep playing for as long as you can.
