How to Play
Click on enemies or tap your screen to attack when the time is right..
- Starting the Game
- Click the pink and blue PLAY button at the bottom of the game’s welcome screen.
- The upper right corner of the game has buttons to control game sounds and music.
- Your local web browser automatically stores your high score data.
- Game Controls
- Fighting
- Each enemy only takes a single hit to defeat.
- Use your mouse to click on the enemy or tap your screen to attack them.
- When you attack you do not control which Powerpuff Girl (Blossom, Bubbles or Buttercup) attacks.
- Attack timing
- Attack right around the time there is a star near the enemy and they have 2 exclamation points showing above their head.
- Timing is based on these visual cues rather than on enemy location, as some enemies come close while others stop far away for a range attack.
- If you attack too early or too late you miss and get hit.
- Group attacks
- If a wave of enemies comes at once tap each quickly and you can have all 3 Powerpuff Girls engage in a power move group attack.
- Dying
- After 4 hits you lose and it is game over.
- This game does not have power ups which restore your health.
- When the game ends it shows your current score, your all time best score, and offers buttons at the bottom of the game to either play again or quit.
- Strategy
- Scoring points
- In this point each enemy you kill starts off as only being worth 100 points.
- Each consecutive enemy you kill adds to your bonus, which adds 100 to the value of each kill. For example, if you were at a 25x bonus the next enemy would be worth 2,600.
- When you get around 40,000 to 50,000 points enemies come much faster and it is far easier to make a mistake, so it is important to start the game with a long streak.
- Lowering distractions
- When I had the music and game sound turned on I accidentally hit too early repeatedly. If something distracts your concentration it can have a big difference in your total score given how scoring is streak based.
- The game rotates through a different scene for each play. If you dislike a particular layout you can restart the game and play harder when you get a background you like.
- Some people will play better on mobile devices while others do better on desktop.
- If you play on desktop you can tweak gameplay by adjusting your mouse speed, cursor size, or the size of the browser window.
