Quick Arithmetic Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Select the Play button in the center of the game’s welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Initially only the first level is accessible.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser saves your game progress including beat levels & level scores.
  • Under the Play button on the welcome screen there are buttons for game Help, High Scores, and More Games.
  • In the lower left corner of the game’s welcome screen there is a language select drop down.
  • In the lower right corner of the game’s welcome screen there are buttons for adjusting game settings, sharing the game on social media, reading game developer information & installing the game in your web browser as a web app.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click button to select the green check mark to select when an equation is true & the red X when an equation is false.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Use a finger on the screen to tap the green check mark for true equations & the red X for false equations.
  • Controls & indicators
    • At the top of the right rail the game shows your current level number, current level score, time remaining to solve the current problem, and how many of the 20 answers you have already correctly answered.
    • At the bottom right there are 4 buttons to pause the game, switch to full screen mode, control game sound & control game music.
    • The level select screen shows the score you earned on each level & what your cumulative game score is.
• Game Play
  • Levels
    • This game has 10 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
    • Early levels have addition & then as you progress through the game subtraction, multiplication, and division equations are included.
    • Each level has 20 questions.
  • Scoring
    • You score points based on how quickly you solve the problems on each level.
      • You start each problem with a score of 300 on it and then as time ticks down your score on that problem is reduced.
      • You have 6 seconds to answer each problem.
    • Your level score is cumulative across problems & you score a 200 point bonus at the end of each successfully completed stage.
    • Your game score is cumulative across levels.
    • You can replay any previously beat level to try to improve your score on it.
  • Dying
    • If you get any answer incorrect or the timer reaches zero it is game over.
    • This game offers unlimited continues.
