Red Rope Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button below the game’s title to begin.
    • This will bring up the level select screen.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game’s progress including which levels you have completed.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Left click and drag with your mouse to bring the rope to its target destination.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap and swipe on the screen with your fingers and use them as a mouse
• Game Play
  • Level selection
    • Levels are unlocked in sequence. Only the first level is available at the start of the game.
    • After winning a level, select the green arrow button to unlock and play the next level.
    • You can replay any of the levels you’ve already unlocked.
  • Basic rules
    • Connect the two red pegs through the red rope.
      • Left click or tap to activate the magnet to start dragging the red rope.
      • Drag the red rope to the target location.
    • Make sure the white pegs are green before you connect to the final red peg.
      • Each the white pegs must be connected to the rope before you anchor the rope.
      • When a white peg is connected, it turns green.
      • When all the pegs are green, connect the end of the rope to the red peg. Otherwise, the rope is severed and you fail the level.
      • Some of the white pegs have spikes on them, which force you to run the rope past them on their other side.
  • Tips
    • Minimize slack in the rope before connecting the final peg, or else you may snap the rope.
    • On some levels you have to take the rope in a direction you would not want to in order to minimize its starting momentum so that a middle part of the rope does not rap around and bump into a spike on a peg, breaking the rope.
    • Do not get the rope close to the final peg location or it will suck it in and end in defeat if you still have disconnected white pegs.
