    • Blast through the asteroids and the killer robots.
    • Collect weapon caches to change the type of weapon you fire.

      • Weapon caches alternate between the type of weapons they give out. Collect them at the right time to get the weapon you want or need.
      • Some weapons require that you hold down the attack keys before firing.
    • Take out the miniboss at the end of the level.
  • Level accomplishments
    • Each level has 3 major accomplishments:
      • Reach the end of the level.
      • Kill all enemy robots.
      • Finish the level without losing a single life.
    • The more accomplishments you earn at the end of the level, the higher the number of coins you receive at the end.
  • Upgrades
    • After each level, you earn coins based on your performance.
    • Use these coins in the shop where Eileen will hook you up with upgrades for the following categories:
      • Speed
      • Hit points
      • Attack strength
    • These upgrades have a ramping cost. The first upgrade costs 1 coin, the next 2 coins, and so on.
  • Boss Battles
    • Each boss battle begins with Mordecai and Rigby traveling through space and encountering a cutscene where the boss manifests.
      • Often , the boss is one of their friends controlled by evil robots as a puppet.
    • Boss battles are much harder than regular battles.
      • Bosses pack a formidable punch and take longer to defeat.
      • You also have fewer options to change weapons as there are fewer asteroids to retrieve weapon caches from.
      • As there are no other enemies in boss levels, you cannot replenish your hit points.
  • Health
    • You lose health each time you take damage from asteroids and enemies.
    • The health bar appears next to the pause button on the top left corner of the screen.
      • The health bar only appears if you start losing health.
      • It disappears again when you’ve replenished your health bar.
    • Enemies, when slain, leave plus signs you can use to replenish your health bar.
    • Lose all your health and it’s game over.
  • Tips
    • We recommend playing through levels and earning all their achievements before proceeding to the boss level.
      • This will help you familiarize yourself with the various types of weapons.
      • It will also help you earn enough coins to buy upgrades, which you’ll need to attack the boss effectively.
    • Choose your weapons wisely.
      • Many weapons work better for some situations over others.
      • Take the opportunity to switch weapon types on your next playthrough and use the one that best suits your playstyle.
