- Game Play
- Matching stones
- Open stones
- You can only match open stones.
- Open stones are stones which do not have a tile on top of them, and have at least one side (left or right) free.
- Open stones vs closed stones
- All stones have a gray background color, but closed stones have a darker gray background color.
- You can only select open stones. Open stones show a light gray border around them when they are selected.
- You can estimate how many stones are underneath a stone by how broad the border to the left and bottom part of the tile are.
- Levels
- The game contains 60 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
- You can choose to replay previously beat levels from the level select screen if you want to try to improve your score on them.
- Time
- The first stage gives you 1:07 to beat it.
- Later levels are more complex and give you more time to complete them.
- If you do not beat the level before the timer runs out you fail it.
- When you fail a level you can choose to either try again or end the game.
- This game offers unlimited continues, though if you click “end game” it will erase your game play data and let you submit your game score.
- Strategy
- Try to remove tiles from the widest rows with the most tiles locked first & then go after the deepest columns.
- Save isolated tiles on the periphery for when they can be matched with edge tiles in long runs where the internal tiles are closed off.
- If you do not make a move for a period of time a matching pair of tiles will be highlighted with a bouncing movement pattern, which is the same pattern used to highlight tiles on a hint.
- Scoring
- Your game score is cumulative across levels.
- Scoring points
- Each tile pair you make is worth 20 points.
- Each second you have remaining when you complete a level is worth 3 points.
- Spending points
- Shuffling tiles costs 250 points.
- Taking a hint costs 100 points.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like Mahjong Solitaire tile match games.
- The game has no adult themed content.
