- Your Cars
- There are 3 cars available in the game.
- The blue car is unlocked off the start & the other cars unlock after you satisfy criteria.
- The subsequent cars have more powerful guns and armor, so the differences between them are not just cosmetic.
- The first car starts off with 1 bullet forward and no side bullets. Fully upgraded you get a bullet on each side and 3 up front.
- Fully upgraded the second car has 4 bullets upfront & the third car has 5 bullets.
- You can use income earned from one car to upgrade the next, so it makes sense to save up enough to buy at least the side guns and a few forward gun upgrades on the next vehicle before switching to it.
- You can switch between cars at any time after they are unlocked & you do not need to fully upgrade one vehicle to unlock the next.
- Vehicle upgrades apply on a per-vehicle basis.
- The green car costs 1,000 and is available for purchase after you reach level 5, drive 150 km, and destroy 1,500 cars.
- The red car costs 2,000 and is available for purchase after you reach level 10, use 500 boosters, and destroy 100 police cars.
- It takes a long time to destroy 500 police cars as many levels do not have any in them.
- I only destroyed 66 police cars by the time I was on level 20 & did not get 100 destroyed until level 23.
- Upgrades
- Coins and cash you pick up during the level can be used to buy upgrades. You also get 1 for each enemy downed, 100 for each boss downed, and a distance bonus of 100 coins per km.
- Each vehicle has 6 attributes which can be upgraded a total of 10 times each.
- The upgrade price for each attribute increases as you upgrade levels. The cost for upgrades is 150, 300, 500, 700, 900, 1000, 1200, 1500, 1700, 2000, and 2400.
- Upgrades are on a per-car basis.
- Upgrade types
- Armor: Endure more damage.
- Front gun: Stronger front shooting.
- Side guns: Stronger side shots.
- Magnet: Longer lasting cash pulling.
- Nitro: longer lasting nitro boost.
- Laser: longer lasting laser gun.
- Pickups
- The armor and guns are mounted on your car automatically, but the other upgrades appear as in-game pickups.
- You have to run over the pickups to activate them.
- If you have a pickup active it will show how many seconds it has remaining near its icon near the top of the screen.
- You can have multiple different types of pickups active at the same time and if you collect a second of the same type while the first is still active that adds time to how long that power remains active.
- Enemies
- Each level has a variety of vehicle enemies in it. Typically most enemies when destroyed drop a coin which is worth 2 currency. There are many special enemies in the game as well:
- Semi with gas trailer – blows up all other vehicles on the screen (other than yours) when it is destroyed.
- Ambulance: drops a heart which you can pick up to restore health.
- Armored truck: drops a bundle of cash worth 20.
- Taxi cab: drops nitro or magnet.
- Limo: drops a laser.
- Police car: shoots bullets at you.
- You can destroy enemies by repeatedly shooting their car or ramming into them.
- When you ram into them you will also take some damage unless you do so while having the nitro activated.
- Obstacles
- Construction sites
- Construction sites have a yellow striped area below them.
- Running over the hole at the end of a construction site is an instant death.
- Rockets
- Rockets may fire down on you periodically.
- Triangle warning signs appear at the top of the screen in the lanes where rockets will soon appear, giving you warning to change lanes if you are in one of those lanes.
- Levels
- Each level has the regular driving part of the level and a boss battle at the end.
- If you beat a level you immediately go into playing the next level after beating the boss.
- If you die you can use earned experience to buy vehicle upgrades and restart the same level again.
- The regular level typically lasts for around 80 to 90 vehicles destroyed.
- Most levels do not have any police cars on them.
- A few levels only have a single police car on them. It seems when you beat a level and make it far into the next level on the same play there is often a police car or two on that second level.
- Some levels have many police cars and seem to keep lasting until you die rather than getting to the boss battle, as I have some levels I was past 300 cars destroyed on where there kept being more police cars.
- The levels with many police cars on them are not only unending (e.g. only end when you die) but they also have a lot more construction zones and rockets which can hit you.
- Bosses
- Bosses have a varying gun strength but tend to stay in the middle lane and shoot 1-1-1-3 the pause.
- The key to beating the bosses is to move slightly after each shot in the same direction and then move to the other side after the 1-1-1 part before the 3, then go back and repeat the sequence.
- You want to move just after each shot or else the shot will trace you.
- During the triple shot you want to break hard to the other side right as the first shot comes out.
- Sometimes rockets come during the boss battle.
- If it happens & there is no way out then just play the level again. Eventually you will get a boss battle where that does not happen.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for people who like vertical scrolling shooting games.
- The game has no adult themed content.
