- Angling the mirrors
- The mirrors allow you to redirect the beam of laser light.
- The come in left-slanted or right slanted varieties.
- You cannot change the slant of the mirrors, so use them wisely.
- If a mirror has already been used by one laser bean and a second laser beam tries to pass through it the second laser beam will go straight through it.
- You can have mirrors left over when you complete the level. You are not required to use all mirrors.
- To move mirror positions you need to turn the laser beam off then turn it back on when the mirrors are in position.
- You can cycle the laser beam on and off an unlimited number of times.
- Maze features
- Laser Beams
- The red dot shoots a laser beam you can turn on and off.
- The laser beam shoots in all 4 directions. In later levels you have to control the direction of multiple beams to beat levels.
- Your laser beams can cross one another or cross themselves perpendicularly.
- Blocks
- These are opaque and will not allow the passage of light.
- You can’t remove them and must place mirrors next to them to redirect the laser beam.
- Crystals
- These are transparent but immovable.
- Lasers will pass through them.
- Your cannot remove them, so you must place mirrors next to them to get the beam to go in the desired direction.
- You do not need to bypass them, however, to get them to the goal.
- Switches
- These appear as star-shaped holes in the maze.
- Somewhere else on the maze is a square with an identical hole.
- To activate the switch, have one of the beams shine on them.
- Once activated, the switch’s counterpart will glow purple.
- Inactive switches are opaque and will not allow the laser beam to pass.
- If you want to pass a laser beam through a switch you need to ensure the laser beam which activates that switch has a shorter flow path (or distance to the switch) than the second laser beam’s distance to get to where it passes through that switch.
- You can place mirrors on squares with switches.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for children of all ages and for fans of logic puzzles.
- The game has no adult content.
