• Starting the Game
  • Select the play button on the loading screen to start the game.
  • At the bottom center of the welcome screen:
    • Select the single player button on the left to play by yourself.
    • Select the 2-player button to play with a friend.
    • Select the level creator to create your own battlefields.

      • Player 2
        • Use the arrow keys to move.
        • Use the 0 key on the number pad to fire.

    • Use the in-game buttons on the left and right side of the screen to move around.

  • Basic controls
    • Starting a game
      • Difficulty
        • Choose a difficulty when you start a game.
        • There are 4 levels to choose from:
          • Easy
          • Normal
          • Medium
          • Difficult
      • Level selection
        • Levels are unlocked in sequence. Only one level is available at the start of the game.
        • You can replay all the levels you’ve unlocked so far.
    • Objectives
      • Defeat the enemy tanks and protect your base.
        • Clear all the enemy tanks.
        • Don’t let the enemy tanks shoot you, your ally, or your base.
      • To destroy enemy tanks, shoot at them.
      • If you crash into an enemy tank, you both get destroyed.
      • You start with 10 lives.
        • You will lose if you or your ally run out of lives.
    • Tank ranks
      • Your tank’s ranking determines how well it performs.
        • T1 is the tank’s base level.
        • The highest-ranked tanks are T4 tanks. They can clear trees.
      • Your tank gets stronger by leveling up. Collect stars to improve your tank’s ranking.
  • Bonuses
    • Collect bonuses that randomly appear on the level.
    • Each bonus provides a different effect that will give you an edge over your opponent:
      • 1-up Bonus: Get an extra life for every player
      • Star Bonus: Increases the rank of your tank
      • Helm Bonus: Gives a player temporary protection
      • Bomb Bonus: Destroys all enemy tanks
      • Time Bonus: All onscreen enemies slow down temporarily
      • Shovel Bonus: Gives your base temporary protection
      • Snow Bonus: Freezes all the water into ice
  • Terrain types
    • Sand and pavement: Clear terrain that gives you freedom of movement but no protection
    • Masonry: Can be blasted down but provides some cover from enemy fire for awhile
    • Trees: Obscures your field of view and can only be cleared by T4 tanks
    • Metal: Provides ample cover from enemy fire but cannot be cleared
    • Ice: Can be passed over but will sink your tank if it turns into water
• Level creator
  • Basic
    • The Level creator allows you to create customized levels for the game.
    • Use the tools on the right to add terrain to the map.
  • Interface
    • Left side:
      • The switch lets you choose between editing a user-created level or play the original ones.
        • User: Edits user-created levels.
        • Origin: Lets you edit the game’s original levels.
      • Levels in Game lets you choose the maximum number of levels for the game.
      • Created Level allows you to choose which level to edit.
      • The trash button removes all user levels.
      • The clear button lets you remove all the customization in the level currently opened.
      • The download settings allow you to download your level as a .json file.
      • Next to the download buttons are the following:
        • The enlarge button to the right lets you switch to full screen or windowed modes.
        • The question mark button opens the editor’s help text.
    • On the right side of the screen are the following:
      • The terrain blocks you can place to create your map
      • The return button
      • The music and sound effect buttons.
