Shoot That Fast Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • Select the speaker button on the top left corner to turn the game’s audio on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click anywhere on the screen to shoot.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen anywhere with your fingers to shoot.
  • Controls and indicators
    • On the top row are the following controls, from left to right:
      • Speaker button
      • Timer
      • Current score
      • Home button: Returns you to the welcome screen.
    • The word you need to spell appears on the bottom center of the screen.
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Spell the word shown on the bottom left by shooting down the bottles that contain its letters.
      • Shoot the bottles by left clicking or tapping on them as they appear.
      • All the bottles launched contain all the letters in the word. They move in bullet time so you don’t need to worry about missing them.
      • To spell out the word, you must shoot the bottles in the correct order.
    • Finish as many words as you can before the timer runs out.
      • You have 120 seconds to spell as many words as you can.
    • You start the game with 3 lives.
      • Each time you shoot a letter out of order, you lose a life.
      • Lose all 3 lives and you lose the game.
    • On the game over screen, you can choose to start the game again if you’d like.
  • Scoring
    • You earn 5 points for every letter bottle you shoot in the correct order.
    • The longer the words, the higher your score for finishing them.
    • The game over screen shows you both your current and best scores.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for children learning how to spell common words.
    • While the game has a player shoot a gun they are only shooting bottles with letters on them.
