- Game Play
- Playing tips
- Try to shoot just about everything you can without taking damage directly, as things which get past you can cost you points when they get to the bottom of the screen.
- Most of the time it makes sense to play rather low in the screen so you have more time to react to enemies.
- Laser shooting has an autoshoot feature you can turn on. It makes sense to turn that on so you can focus on moving around the level and shooting your missiles.
- Both missiles and your defensive shield recharge periodically.
- The missiles recharge rather rapidly, so it makes sense to use them whenever the screen starts to feel full of enemies or you start taking damage.
- Missiles shoot in 3 locations: directly in front of you, slightly left of your ship, & slightly right of your ship.
- The yellow indicator at the bottom left shows how charged up the missiles are & shows a white missile indicator whenever it is fully charged.
- Defensive shields recharge slowly.
- You should enable it as soon as possible whenever it is charged because it does not wear out based on time & only takes damage when hit.
- Any damage the defensive shield takes would have been taken by your ship.
- Enemies
- Almost everything in the foreground can do damage to your ship.
- Asteroids can hit and damage your ship.
- Even after you destroy an enemy ship the fragments of it can still hit your ship and do damage.
- Some ships shoot directly in front of them, while others shoot straight and angled to each side.
- There are mines which float around space. You can shoot them like an ordinary enemy. If you get close to them they will be activated & shoot lasers in all directions.
- If you have your defensive shield equipped you can damage enemies by ramming them, though doing so damages your defensive shield as well.
- Scoring
- Each enemy you destroy is worth points.
- Most enemies (including ships & mines) are worth 100 points, with any of their ship fragments you can destroy being worth another 20 points each.
- Most asteroids are worth 40 to 50 points each, with their fragments being worth about 15 points each.
- When enemies get past you and reach the bottom of the screen they cost you points, with the point loss mirroring what the gain would have been if you destroyed them.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like vertically scrolling spaceship flying games.
- The game has no adult themed content.
