Spider-Man Web Shooter Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game

  • Winning
    • You lose health if you get hit. So does your enemy. Your health bar drains right to left. Their health bar drains left to right.
    • Land hits on your enemy often to prevent them from hurling things at you.
    • If your enemy loses all their health, you progress to the next round.
    • When a heart appears, shoot it with your web. You will earn more health.
  • Losing
    • The game is on a timer. Go quickly. You need to defeat your enemy before the time runs out. If the time runs out you lose the game.
    • If you lose all your health, the game ends.
  • Shooting strategy
    • Each enemy has a fairly predictable movement pattern where they may throw things at you or charge you.
      • You can interrupt most enemy attacks by hitting them right before they were going to attack.
      • Shoot any items which are thrown at you before they hit you.
    • You are limited to 15 shots before you must reload.
      • Be careful not to waste them and time your reloads for when your opponent is moving instead of attacking.
      • When playing Green Goblin on hard mode you need to constantly shoot because he shoots at you so frequently it is hard to keep up, particularly with your reload.
    • This game has 5 levels: Rhino, Lizard, Octobots, Electro and Green Goblin.
      • Earlier enemies are large, easy to hit, slow moving and you can block most of their attacks by timing your hits.
      • Later enemies are a bit more controlled chaos as they fire many items at you quickly and your attacks do not prevent them from getting their attacks off.
      • On harder game modes you still face the same enemies except they have a more aggressive attacks.
        • For example, on hard the lizard throws 4 boxes at a time instead of 2 on medium & the Octobots shoot 3 balls at a time instead of 2. In addition to throwing more items per attack, they also attack at a faster rate.
        • On hard mode the Green Goblin is quite hard & it may take multiple tries to beat him.
        • If you die on a level you get unlimited continues with your score from the prior level completion retained.
          • If you beat the game on medium you will likely score slightly above 50,000 points. On hard mode you will likely score over 60,000 points.
• Audience
  • This game is fun for kids of all ages.
    • Easy mode is easy enough that young kids can beat it button mashing.
    • Hard mode is challenging when you get to the final battle.
  • There is no adult imagery.
