SpongeBob SquarePants Marble Bash Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Click anywhere on the screen to start.
    • Click on the difficulty level you would like to play. Easy, Normal or Hard.
    • A tutorial will start. If you know the rules, click on Skip to start the game.
• Game Controls
  • The game is controlled by the left button on the mouse.
  • Click on a marble to select it.
  • Click and drag the mouse pointer between the marbles to draw a line.
• Game Play
  • Connect marbles
    • Click on a marble and drag a line between three or more identical marbles. The marbles will disappear.
    • Your lines do not need to be straight across.
    • The individual line segments can wrap around and even cross each other.
    • If marbles are physically touching you only need to touch one of them to activate the selection of the group.
    • You can start connecting marbles as soon as they start falling into the screen.
    • After a few seconds your line will automatically complete its selection, so try not to take too long when connecting marbles.
  • Special marbles & powerful attack options
    • If you see a rainbow marble draw a line between it and another marble. All matching marbles will disappear.
    • Click a jellyfish marble to zap marbles close to the jellyfish. These marbles will disappear.
    • Click bubbles. If you click enough of them you will earn a “Clear All” switch.
    • Sometimes a magic comet will appear and clear all the marbles it touches.
    • Match six identical marbles to earn a bonus.
    • Match six or more SpongeBob characters to earn an extra bonus.
  • Avoid
    • You can’t link rocks.
    • Don’t click on the skulls!
  • Status
    • Your current score is shown in the upper left corner of the game.
    • The current level number and remaining time in the level are shown in the upper right corner of the game inside the pause button.
    • A green line at the bottom of the game shows how close you are to completing the current level based on how many matches you have made.
    • Go quickly. You need to clear as fast as possible to pass the round.
    • The timer lasts around a couple minutes, but marbles fall fast and if they get to the top of the playing field it is game over.
      • It can be quicker to match three marbles than wait for longer chains. If you can’t see a long chain of matching marbles within two seconds, match three marbles. Chains of three are more plentiful. Longer chains will soon present themselves.
      • Speed increases as you work your way through the levels.
      • If you are stuck on level 5 on medium try playing the game on hard mode to try to get used to a more difficult challenge then come back to medium.
  • The game has 40 levels.
    • If you die it is game over and you start from the first level. There are no continues.
