- Stone matching
- Identical
- Stones must be identical in every fashion in order to be paired off.
- When you select a stone its border is outlined in orange. If the second stone you select is identically matching then they pair off and leave the level.
- Free stones
- Free stones are stones which are not covered by another stone & have at least one side (left or right) open.
- Free stones have a lighter background and image color than other stones, whereas stones that are not free have a darker background and image color.
- You can only select free stones.
- Levels
- This game has 30 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
- You can go back and replay previously beat levels to try to earn a higher score on them.
- Your new score only replaces the old score if you score more points on the subsequent play.
- Level select
- The level select screen allows you to scroll through levels by tapping on the background and scrolling horizontally.
- Unlocked levels have orange numbers on the tombstones.
- There is a PLAY button in the upper right. This will have you play the next level, or you can go back and replay previous levels by double clicking on the tomb stone.
- Your cumulative game score is shown top center.
- Board design
- The first level has 30 stones, or 15 stone pairs.
- As you progress through the game levels have more stone pairs added to them & some stacks have multiple stones on top of each other.
- Level timer
- The first level gives you 2:05 to beat it.
- As you progress through the game the level timers grow as the board design grows more complex and more tiles are added.
- Each level gives you 5 seconds more than the prior level.
- If you fail to beat a level on time you are shown a level failed menu where you are given the option to try again or end game.
- Try again lets you restart the current level. This game offers unlimited continues.
- End game allows you to submit your score, but it also erases your gameplay data, forcing you to start back at the first level if you want to play again.
- Autoshuffle
- If no open tile pairs remain the tiles automatically shuffle without costing you any points.
- This means that there is an open pair available at all times or else the board would automatically shuffle the remaining tiles for you.
