- For animal pieces
- You only have 25 tries to build.
- You gain extra blocks by stacking alike blocks adjacent to or on top of one another.
- Black, iridescent blocks count as all colors. You get a bonus block each time you lay a block on top of or beside it.
- Linear Pieces
- These are the main blocks in the game.
- They come in 2, 4, or 6-pegged lengths.
- You can stack them one on top of the other with ease.
- You need only one peg to hold them in place.
- The rules of physics don’t apply.
- Animal-shaped pieces
- These are irregularly-shaped pieces shaped like cats, chickens, and sharks.
- Although they can occupy 1 peg at least, these pieces have a large footprint.
- Sharks occupy the most space at 10 pegs.
- Cats occupy 4 pegs.
- Chickens only occupy 3 peg.
- You cannot lay blocks on top of them.
- Animal pieces add difficulty to the game in several ways
- It can be hard to find space for them as you build up.
- They occupy more space than the blocks needed to put them in.
- To keep building up, you often need to build around them.
- You get a score bonus if you trap the animal pieces inside a cavity.
- This involves building walls of linear blocks around them, then building on top of those blocks.
- The resulting cavity will have a translucent rainbow overlay.
- Strategy
- Extend your gameplay time by linking similarly colored blocks as often as you can.
- Consider trapping the animals inside the block tower.
- Alternatively, place animal blocks on the sides.
- Target Audience
