Sudoku Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • To begin, select a difficulty level from the center of the welcome screen:
    • Easy
    • Medium
    • Hard
    • Very Hard
    • Extreme
    • Master
  • Select the light bulb button on the top left corner to choose a background color.
  • Select the statistics button to see how well you’ve been performing.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your current and best scores.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse:
      • Left click on a cell to select it.
      • Left click on a number to add it to the cell.
      • Left click on a number while the guess button is turned on to write it in as a guess.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers:
      • Tap on a cell to select it.
      • Tap on a number to add it in.
      • Tap on a number while the guess button is on to write it in as a guess.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Top row (left to right)
      • Home button: Returns you to the welcome screen
      • Lightbulb button
      • Timer and difficulty level
      • Pause button
      • Speaker button: Turns the game’s audio on or off
    • Middle row (left to right, below the playing grid):
      • Information button: Displays the rules of Sudoku
      • Note button: When selected, this lets you write down numbers as guesses
      • Check button: Answers the puzzle
      • Hint button: Solves one of the number
      • Reset button: Clears all the answers on the field
    • Bottom row (left to right)
      • Numbers 1 to 9
      • X button: Erases the answer on the cell
• Game Play
  • Sudoku rules
    • Fill in the empty cells with the numbers 1 through 9.
    • The finished puzzle must not have any numbers repeat in any row, column, or 3 x 3 box.
  • Filling puzzle
    • Select a cell, then select a number to place it in the cell.
      • If your guess potentially correct, the number will appear as blue.
      • If there is already a number of that value in the row, column, or square, it will turn red.
    • If you want to lay down guess answers, select the note button before selecting a cell and a number. You can write down 9 tiny numbers on the cell on guess mode
    • Select the X button to remove the contents of a cell.
      • It will not work while on guess mode.
  • Statistics
    • The statistics page shows you how well you performed on both your last puzzle and your best puzzle.
    • The page has a section for every difficulty level.
    • The page only logs in the puzzles you actually finished.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like Sudoku games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
