- Deal
- This game uses 2 decks of cards.
- 54 cards are dealt to the tableau across 10 columns.
- 4 columns have 6 cards each.
- 6 columns have 5 cards each.
- All cards on the tableau other than the bottommost card are dealt face down.
- 50 cards are dealt to the reserves.
- Reserves are dealt onto the playing field 10 cards at a time.
- Dealing the reserves to the playing field requires each column on the tableau to have at least one card on it.
- Levels
- This is a single level game where players have 20 minutes to complete all 8 foundations.
- Moves
- You can move any card onto another card provided the card is in sequential descending order.
- Sequential runs of cards may be moved provided they are all the same color.
- When a royal flush of the same suit is in sequential order at the bottom of a tableau column the cards are automatically moved to one of the 8 foundations.
- Open columns on the tableau can be filled by any card or any sequential colored run of cards.
- To deal from the reserves all columns on the tableau must have at least one card in each.
- When you deal from the reserves a card is dealt to the bottom of each column on the tableau.
- Strategy
- Since you can move same-color runs, in most cases you should go for same colored matches instead of alternating colors.
- Only alternate colors if either you have already exhausted all of the same-color moves, or the alternate color move allows you to empty a tableau column to sort other columns.
- Create an open column on the tableau early in the game.
- This provides you flexibility, enabling you to resort runs of cards by suit color & resort same color runs into suited runs.
- Try to expose as many of the tableau cards as you can before taking your first deal from the reserves.
- After each deal from the reserves try to get each column in the best order you can so you do not have many non-sequential cards on top of each other.
- Do not let any column on the tableau get longer than 23 cards as cards below that will be offscreen and can become impossible to play if a card of a different color is dealt to the stack.
- Use move undo strategically.
- You get a total of 3 move undoes per game.
- You can use them to compare the under card on two parallel stacks, or after a deal from the reserves where you want to move some cards before re-dealing.
- Scoring
- Each foundation you build is worth 10 points, for a maximum base score of 80 points.
- Each second you have remaining when you beat the game is worth 50 points.
- The key to scoring high in this game is finishing quickly, as you’ll score more points from time than from the cards if you have anything more than 2 seconds remaining when you beat the game.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like Spider Solitaire card games.
- The game has no adult themed content.
