• Starting the Game

  • Basic
    • Remove the blocks from the game screen.
      • Select a group of 3 or more blocks of the same color to remove them.
      • Do the same with rainbow blocks and bags of fish.
      • Transparent bubble blocks cannot be removed by tapping.
        • They will add to the pressure if they are attached to removable blocks below them.
        • Take out the blocks below them and they will float away without issue.
    • Use various power ups to help you clear the blocks faster.
    • Clear the level by catching fish still in their bubbles.
    • Don’t let the stack of blocks reach the top.
      • When any part of the stack reaches the top, it begins to shake.
      • If the shaking reaches the bottom row of blocks, it’s game over.
      • You have a matter of seconds to prevent a game over by removing blocks from the tallest part of the stack. The moment that this is clear, you can resume the game.
  • Levels
    • The game has 10 levels, each represented by a species of fish.
    • Each time you start a new session, you begin from the first level. You must play all the levels you’ve unlocked from the beginning.
  • Scoring
    • Each box is worth 1 point. A group of 3 blocks will net you 3 points.
    • The more blocks you clear, the higher your score.
    • Multipliers will appear on the sides of some blocks, indicating that they are worth more. A group of 5 blocks where one has a multiplier of 2 will yield 7 points.
  • Power ups
    • Power ups help clear the level faster by destroying groups of blocks irrespective of their color.
    • Each power up has its own effect. Most affect the blocks in rows adjacent to them.
      • Firecracker: Takes out a vertical row of blocks
      • Sideways firecracker: Takes out a horizontal row of blocks
      • Bomb: Takes out all blocks adjacent to it, forming a square
      • Hammer: Takes out both a horizontal and vertical row of blocks
      • Colored firecracker: Takes out all the visible blocks of its color in the field.
    • Power ups, once activated, cannot clear fish or bubble blocks.
    • Clear a group of 3 or more rainbow blocks and you gain one random power up. This is placed on a random spot on the field.
  • Tips
    • Avoid forming towers of 1 or 2 blocks.
      • Towers like these cannot be removed without a colored firecracker because there’s no group of three in them. Thus, they are a lingering hazard.
      • If you see a tower forming, start finding ways to bring it down.
    • You can keep playing after 3 or more fish appear in a row to increase your score.
    • Be careful not to separate the fish, or you’ll need to play even longer to line them up again.
