- Basic rules
- Match 3 or more tiles to remove them from the screen.
- You can only remove tiles that are considered open.
- Typically in Mahjong Solitaire open tiles have no tile above them and at least one side (left or right) that has no adjacent tiles.
- In this game a tile is considered open if no tile is on top of it, even if both the left and right sides have adjacent tiles.
- The game helpfully highlights all valid tiles and grays out invalid ones.
- When tiles are directly atop one another you can not see what tile is underneath it.
- When tiles are offset one another you can see the tiles under them, which can help you determine which tiles to remove to open up matching sets of 3.
- The bar at the bottom center serves as a holding area for tiles.
- This holding area can house up to 7 tiles.
- You cannot put back tiles you placed on the bar. You can only remove them when you find 2 more identical tiles to match them with.
- If you fill up the entire bar and none of the tiles form a group of 3 identical tiles, you fail the level.
