- Your mother is in your room.
- There are no chores in this room. You can interact with your mother, though.

- No matter what you say, your character will only say mean things to your family members.
- This will lower your relationship with them.
- Your family responds differently each time you talk to them, even as your relationship goes down:
- Your grandmother thinks you’re despondent and disrespectful.
- Your sister (who reacts with the least negativity) will simply shrug off your character’s sullen attitude.
- Your mother tries to do something nice, and is never hostile. Though your character is unreasonably meaner to her when she’s in his bedroom.
- Plot (Spoilers)
- The boy in the game is going through the motions of a list of chores his father gave him and, in an almost typical teenager fashion, he is not happy.
- As you go through the house, you will notice that incidental details that show the player character as being much happier as a child.
- His responses toward his family members are all hostile. Some may find him rude and unsympathetic at first, at least until after he cleans up the attic.
- The family lost their father (relatively recently, if the list is any indication; given the references in the computer virus minigame, it could be of Covid-19). The death has hit the player character the hardest, and he isn’t coping with the loss well. Seeing the telescope finally allows him to mourn properly, and he apologizes for alienating his family.
- Moral
- If you’ve ever lost a loved one, give yourself ample time to grieve your loss and cycle through these emotions.
- Give yourself some space to express your emotions in a positive way.
- Do not push your loved ones away. If anything, you may need them (and vice versa) to cope with you mutual loss.
- Check out this this page for more information on bereavement.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like simple idle adventure games.
- The game has no adult themed content. It does have some profanity, which makes it more appropriate for teenagers.
