- Levels
- Levels are unlocked in sequence:
- You start with only the first level unlocked.
- Finish one level to unlock the next.
- Finishing one level automatically loads the next one.
- There are 180 levels in this game.
- Unlike in other level-based games, a level is locked when you finally finish it.
- You can’t replay previously beat levels to try to earn a better score on them.
- Objectives
- Deliver as many items to the factory as you can.
- You have 2 minutes to complete the delivery on early levels, though the level timer grows as you progress through the game and have longer journeys.
- Transporting items
- At the start of each level, your trailer is parked close to the farm’s sorting machine.
- The sorting machine will drop several pieces of produce onto the trailer.
- To succeed, make sure as much of the contents in the trailer reach the factory as possible.
- It is possible at this stage for some of the produce to fall out. Keep as much of them there as possible by making sure the tractor stays still.
- The numbers in the upper right corner indicate how many pieces of produce
- A traffic light near the beginning of the level guides you when it is ok to move.
- Move the tractor up and down hilly terrain.
- Don’t move too fast to prevent spillage.
- Tilt the tractor’s trailer to minimize spillage when passing through steep inclines.
- Upgrading your tractor & trailer
- Using the money you’ve earned, you can upgrade your current tractor and, eventually, buy better tractors and trailers.
- Three other tractors for sale cost 5,000, 7,500, and 10,000.
- Three other trailers for sale cost 2,000, 3,500, and 6,000.
- You can upgrade the following items on your tractor:
- Engine
- Gearbox
- Tires
- Boost
- Fuel
- On the first tractor the upgrade cost schedule is:
- Engine 310, 375, 480, 620
- Gearbox 330, 440
- Tires 50, 90, 160
- Boost 500, 800, 1,200
- Fuel 50, 110, 180, 250
- Strategy
- Restart on errors
- Levels give you plenty of time to beat them, but you can not replay a level you have already beat.
- This means that if you do poorly on a level you should consider refreshing your web browser to replay the level before you get to the end of it.
- Preserve produce
- The name of this game is keeping as much produce as possible in the trailer.
- Some levels have large produce which nearly fill the trailer, while other levels have smaller produce. Where produce is large and fills the trailer you have to drive slower.
- If you are going up a hill and the produce is near the back of the basket sometimes letting off the accelerator can cause the produce to move forward slightly.
- When you get to the bottom of the hill and flatten out it can make sense to tap the gas a bit to prevent produce from falling forward out of the trailer.
- As a rule of thumb, when you are on flat land you can go full speed, but whenever you have changes in elevation you should go slower to lower the physic impacts of the change in angle.
- Upgrade strategy
- As far as upgrades go the boost upgrade is rather pointless since using it could cause you to lose more produce.
- The most important thing to upgrade is the trailer as it gives you more flexibility in not losing produce.
- The lowest cost trailer costs 2,000, so it can make sense to upgrade the tires, gearbox and engine early to help make your ride a bit smoother until you can afford a trailer.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like simple driving games.
- The game has no adult themed content.
