Tricky Shapes Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Tap anywhere on the game loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.
  • Press the blue and white play button in the lower center of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
  • The welcome screen has a sound control button in the upper right corner, a game developer information button in the lower left corner, and a more games button in the lower right corner.

    • Use your mouse left click button to select pieces and drag them into position.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to select a piece and drag it into position in the puzzle.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left corner of the puzzle shows the level number you are on.
    • The upper right corner of the puzzle has 3 buttons to return to the level select screen, restart the level, and control game sound.
    • The bottom of the puzzle shows the pieces you have remaining to play.
    • The level select screen shows which levels you have unlocked.
• Game Play
  • Basics
    • Drag the puzzle pieces from the bottom into the grid.
    • To successfully beat a puzzle each cell of the grid must be filled in & puzzle pieces may not overlap each other.
    • Be careful when playing pieces as you can’t remove or move any piece from the puzzle without starting it over again.
    • Puzzles are quite easy with only 3 or 4 pieces each.
  • Levels
    • This game has 36 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a stage by filling in every square of the grid with puzzle pieces.
      • Once a piece has been dragged into the puzzle you can not remove it or move it to another location.
      • If you move a piece to an incorrect location, use the restart button in upper right to play the level again.
      • This game allows you to retry levels an unlimited number of times.
  • Tips
    • The game is not timed, so there is no rush. Consider some of the limiting aspects of various pieces before dragging them into position.
    • Typically it makes sense to play the larger pieces first as those will have fewer potential fitting positions.
