- Basic rules
- Clear all the cards from the stack.
- To clear a card, select one card, then select another of the same value.
- The cards can be of different suits and colors.
- Only face-up cards can be removed this way. To free up a card, remove the card on top of it.
- If you make a mistake, use the undo button to revert your last move.
- You can only undo once.
- Undoing your last action also takes back the points you previously earned.
- Use Joker cards to remove cards that you otherwise can’t find a pair for.
- You earn for every 4 pairs of cards you make.
- Select a card, then select the Joker to pair the two.
- There are no point penalties for using a Joker, though you earn bonus points for any Jokers you have remaining at the end of the level.
- Deal new cards from the stock to get more cards.
- You deal new cards 2 at a time.
- You can remove cards of identical value in the deal space. This can help you retrieve more cards without cycling through while bolstering your score.
- You can cycle through the reserve cards thrice. The remaining number of times you can cycle is shown on the right side of the stock.
- Clear the entire stack of cards to win the level.
- Take as much time as you need. You have no time limit.
- When you run out of possible moves (including dealing from the reserves and Jokers), you fail the level.
- If you fail, you have the option of submitting your score to the leaderboard or trying again.
- Trying again will clear your previous progress.
- Levels
- Levels appear in a snaking path on the level selection screen.
- Each level is represented by a number.
- Below the level is its top score.
- Select a level to load it.
- Levels are unlocked sequentially.
- Only the first level is playable at the start of the game.
- Finish one level to unlock the next.
- Each level has a unique board layout.
- There are 50 levels in this game.
- If you fail a level you can try it again.
- You can replay any of the levels you’ve already beat to try to earn a higher score on them.
- Each time you play a particular level it will have the same board layout, but the card order dealt will be different.
- Strategy
- When clearing out cards on the tableau early in the game when few cards are face up you should try to remove cards which help open up the playing field by surfacing many other cards face up. After you already have a decent number of cards face up it is best to try to take out the top cards on the stacks with the most cards underneath them in sequence so you do not have to make a lot of sequential matches late in the game.
- You get a Joker after every 4 matches, so if a large part of the board is stuck under a card don’t be afraid to use Jokers early in the game to help open up the field.
- Try to remember which cards remain in the reserves when you get down to a few cards left on the tableau. If you know the card you need is still in the reserves then it is generally better to use a card from the reserves to complete the sequence rather than a Joker as Jokers are worth 10 times as much as reserve cards when you complete a level.
- If you know you won’t be using cards in the reserves to pair with any on the tableau you can match those cards together.
- Scoring
- There are 2 scores in this game:
- You earn level scores for every level you play.
- Each pair of card you remove is worth 100 points.
- You get bonus points after finishing the game based on your remaining cards.
- Jokers are worth 500 points each.
- Unused stock cards in the reserves are worth 50 points each.
- If you earn a higher score after replaying the level, this becomes your new level score.
- Your total score is the sum of all your best level scores across the game.
- To change your level score, consider replaying a level.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like card pair matching games.
- The game has no adult themed content.
