Wacky Races Sling Races Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Click on the green button with the checkered flags at the bottom center of the welcome screen.
  • Select which car you want to use.
  • Select which racetrack you want to race on.
  • The game has a sound control button in the upper right corner of the welcome screen.
• Game Controls
  • Tap the screen or left click your mouse and pull back while setting the angle to propel your car forward in the direction of the arrow.
  • Repeat the process racing around the track 3 times.
  • There is a yellow button near the lower left corner of the screen you can click on to use your power move once per lap.
• Strategy
  • Car selection
    • Each car has its own strengths and weaknesses.
    • Penelope Pitstop in the Compact Pussycat can drive over rough terrain without penalty to speed once per race.
    • Peter Perfect in the Turbo Terrific has a super-powerful turbo boost that lasts for one turn.
    • The Gruesome Twosome in the Doom Buggy can make itself temporarily invincible.
    • Dick Dastardly & Muttley in the Mean Machine can stun other cars by crashing into them, making them lose one turn.
  • Course selection
    • The courses with fewer turns are easier as you can push hard on straightaways and you do not need to align multiple consecutive corners.
    • Even the fourth track is still quite easy.
  • General
    • You get to go first, so you should be able to build up a decent lead on straightaways right off the start of the race, especially on the simpler courses.
    • On the more complex courses with many turns setting your hit strength to align yourself for a powerful follow-through move into and around subsequent corners is important.
    • If you fall behind you can use powerups to catch up.
    • When you hit corners it does not matter if your car is facing the wrong direction as you can turn it at any angle for the next push.
    • When passing through it helps to go a bit softer to align the car going into the corner so that you can aim for the apex and drive straight through multiple corners at once on a single move.  
    • Avoid hitting obstacles on the course.
      • Water causes your car to slow and stop.
      • Spikes slow you down and forfeit your next turn.
