- Fighting
- There are multiple types of enemy spaceships you must destroy.
- Some of them focus on sucking light out of the planet you are standing on while others focus on shooting you.
- When the enemies are attacking the planet itself you have to rush around the circumference of the planet shooting them quickly and do not have to do much in the way of defense beyond a strong attack.
- When the enemies are attacking you then you need to run around the planet and jump to evade their shots & shoot at them when the time is right.
- When you destroy enemies you accumulate light which can be used to brighten the planet, add to your general health, or be used to purchase upgrades.
- Upgrades must be purchased on each level & you are reset at the initial status on each when you start the next level.
- Upgrades
- There are 3 different types of upgrades you can buy: shot size, mutishot, and frequency.
- Upgrades cost 100, 150, and 200 per tier on each type of upgrade.
- When you upgrade any attack it lasts throughout the duration of the current level, but you start back with the basic settings on the next level or next play of the current level.
- When purchasing upgrades you use up the light points which act as your health and can be used to give light to the planet, so you should always ensure you maintain at least 100 health while doing upgrades so you do not run out of light.
- Defense
- Keep it bright
- You can use some of your light points to keep the planet’s brightness charged.
- Try to charge up the planet’s brightness in between waves of enemies so that you are not trying to do too many things at once.
- You can’t move or shoot enemies while you are giving light to a planet.
- Some enemies can try to ram you and knock you off the planet, while other enemies shoot at you & other enemies suck like from the planet.
- On weaker enemies you can shoot them as they approach & may not need to do much in the way of evasion.
- On stronger enemies you can move around the surface of the planet and jump to throw off their aim, however it is worth noting that you can’t shoot while you are moving, so you have to stop at least momentarily to do damage to them.
- Each level has a boss battle at the end where you need to have a good bit of health stored up to defeat the boss.
- You die if you run out of hit points (light) or the planet turns absolutely dark.
- This game offers unlimited continues.
- Levels
- Each planet is a standalone level.
- As long as you continue playing a game then you retain any beat levels and can start off on whichever planet you last played.
- When you die & restart you may need to run around planet on the level select screen and jump to the next planet until you get to the planet you died on & then select that planet to start on the level you were on.
- If you start the game over you will once again start at the first level.
- Target Audience
- The game is suited for players who like Spider Solitaire card games.
- The game has no adult themed content.
