  • How to Play
    • Compare the two pictures. When you spot a difference, highlight it on the right hand side picture.
    • Whilst very simple in concept, it can be difficult to identify all the differences in the time allowed. Go quickly.
    • The positioning of the cursor is quite precise. If you’re slightly off, you’ll see a cross. If you get the precise location of the difference, you’ll see a circle. This is to prevent wild, random guessing!
  • Scoring Points
    • You score points for finding differences and you lose points when you click on spots where there are not any differences.
    • If you finish a level with a lot of time remaining the time is converted to additional points. Once you have mastered the game most of your points will be from leftover time.
    • Points are cumulative across levels within an individual game play.
  • Level Progress
    • On the right, you’ll see three boxes. Clear, score and hint.
    • “Clear” shows the number of differences you need to find.
    • “Score” will go up as you identify a difference. It will go down if you make a mistake. Your final score for the round will also depend on how quickly you spot the differences.
    • “Hint” will show you a difference. You get three hints per game. Hints are cumulative across levels, so if you use the hints on early levels you won’t be able to use them on later levels.
  • Beating the Game
    • There are five levels you need to pass to win the game.
    • If you run out of time on a level the game is over and you have to start the game again starting with the first level.
    • Memorize the early levels so you can save your hints for the last level where you have to find 10 differences.
