Bouncy Cubs is a cross between mini-golf, pinball and curling. Perhaps the best way to describe the game would be team carrom with obstacles. Attempt to get your bears through the maze and close to the flag at the end. Beware of the bouncy walls, oil slicks, slime, and boxes that can slow you down or send you spiraling out of control in any direction.
- Aim to get your bear close to the flag.
- Avoid obstacles that can slow you down or send you spinning off track.
- When the green light is lit, you’ve won the round. If there are 2 or 3 bears in the level then you need that many lights lit to beat the level.
- There are 18 challenging rounds to play, with levels being unlocked one at a time.

We Bare Bears Bouncy Cubs Game Play Instructions
How to Play
Propel your bear through the mazes. Aim to get as close to the finish flag as you can. There are 18 rounds in this challenging game.
- Starting the Game
- Click on the Play button on the loading screen, then select the red Play button on the bottom of the game welcome screen screen to start.
- You’ll be forwarded to a cute introduction cartoon.
- Pick your level. If this is the first time you’ve played, you start at level one.
- Your web browser automatically stores your game progress including levels beat and level rating.
- Game Controls
- Desktop / Mouse & Keyboard
- For the main gameplay there is only one control – the left button on the mouse.
- Click on a bear. Hold the mouse button down.
- Move the mouse around the bear to point the bear in a direction.
- As you move the mouse in a circle, the orientation of the bear will change, indicated by a direction arrow.
- You will also see a velocity meter, indicated by dots.
- Move the mouse close to the bear, then release, to nudge the bear a short distance.
- Move it further away, then release, for more force.
- You can also click on the level background away from where they bears are to select the background and move around the level view to see portions of the level which were hidden in the default view.
- Touchscreen
- Use your finger like a mouse. First press and hold, then pull back and set direction and release.
- You can also tap on the screen away from where the bears are to select the screen to move the level view around so you can see parts of the larger levels which were not visible in the default view.
- The upper right corner of the game contains a pause button.
- The pause menu has buttons for unpausing, restarting level, going to the level select screen and sound control.
- A meter at the top of the screen shows your current star rating if the level were to end and how many moves you must have remaining to score a particular star rating.
- For example, if the number to the right side of the bar is 12 and there is a 4 on the second star that means you must get your bears to the goal within 8 shots to score 2 stars.
- Game Play
- Aim your bear, decide on a velocity, then release your shot.
- Your bear will glide across the course.
- The movement of the bear is similar to the movement of a curling stone.
- Your aim is to get to the flag at the end. If the flag is hidden from view, look for an indicator on the course that will show its direction.
- You get a limited number of turns to get to the flag. The red meter at the top will indicate the number of turns you have left. If you use up all your turns, but don’t get to the flag at the end, you will lose the round.
- Bumpers and obstacles
- Stay away from obstacles. For example, the liquid spills and boxes can slow you down.
- The bumper walls can be both a help or a hinderance, depending on how you use them.
- If you hit them at the right angle, they can propel you further ahead.
- If you hit them at the wrong angle, they can send you backwards.
- These bumper wall are similar to those of a pinball table, and produce a similar result when struck.
- As the game progresses, you will need to get multiple bears to the flag.
- Be careful not to knock your own bears out of the end zone!
- As the mazes get more complicated, you need to navigate an increasing number of traps and obstacles. Some can be a help, and some can be a hinderance depending on how you use them.
- For example, there are spikes that rise out of the floor, then withdraw.
- Time it right and you can pass the first set of spikes whilst using the second set to act as a wall to prevent your bear travelling too far out of play.
- As the levels get more complex your navigation paths get more confusing.
- You may need to exit one side of the screen to enter again on the other side of the screen.
- In some cases arrows will point the way.
- When you have multiple bears, strategy plays more of a role.
- For example, you can use bears to operate door-opening buttons to clear a path for other bears.
- These options aren’t immediately obvious, so some experimentation is required.
- If you find a turn-saving option like this in the middle of a level you can click the pause button in the upper right corner to bring up the menu allowing you to restart the level.
- Scoring
- Each of the 18 levels is only unlocked after the prior levels are beat.
- You are rated on each level from 1 to 3 stars.
- You can unlock subsequent levels even if you get less than 3 stars.
- You can also go back and replay previously beaten levels to try to get a better score.
- Audience
- This game will suit children of all ages. Adults, too. Younger children will enjoy the cute visuals, although it does take a bit of skill to navigate the mazes. For this reason, this game is best suited to older children.
- There is no adult imagery in this game.
