We Bare Bears Box O Mania Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Select the yellow Play button on the bottom of the screen to start.
    • You’ll be forwarded to a cute introduction cartoon, then the game will start.
  • Your local web browser automatically stores your high score.
• Game Controls
  • There is only one control – the left button on the mouse.
  • Left-click on the bear to drag it around the conveyer belt to collect incoming boxes while avoiding other objects.
  • Release the left-click to leave the bear stationary then left-click on the flashing switch icon when it appears on the bottom left of the screen. This will switch the bears and banks your points with each box you have saved during that round being worth 10 points.
• Game Play
  • Scoring
    • Position your box-obsessed bear in the path of the boxes as they travel down the conveyer belt.
    • Each box is worth ten points, which are awarded when you switch bears.
    • You will only bank your points when you manage to switch bears.
      • You switch bears by clicking on the flashing icon. This icon will appear towards the bottom of the screen.
      • It only appears occasionally, and not for long, so be quick when you see it.
      • If you do not click the switch in time you lose the box credits you have earned since the last switch and start back at zero boxes (though you do not lose any of the points you already banked).
    • When the flashing icon appears, click on it. You will need to position the bear away from non-box items first. As the pace of the game increases, this requires quick reflexes.
  • Dying
    • Whilst very simple in concept, this game requires quick reactions.
      • When you get to around 40 to 50 boxes in the game dramatically speeds up.
      • If you don’t time it correctly, you’ll hit the non-box items and the game will end.
    • The first item you hit which is not a box ends the game.
    • To avoid hitting items I like to have the bear’s default position be about centered from a left vs right perspective and about 2/3 the way vertically up the conveyer belt.
      • Being in the middle horizontally means you can move left or right to avoid something coming at you.
      • Being about 2/3 the way up means you can quickly move down to get an easy isolated box, but have plenty of time to react to avoid oncoming obstacles coming down the conveyer belt.
• Audience
  • This game will suit children of all ages. Younger children will enjoy the cute visuals and there is challenge for kids of all ages as the pace increases.
  • There is no adult imagery in this game.
