Word Master Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin the standard mode of the game.
    • Select the calendar button to the left of the play button to start the daily challenge.
    • Select the infinity button to play the infinite mode of the game.
  • Select the speaker button on the top right corner to turn the game’s audio on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score and your statistics.

  • Desktop
    • With your mouse:
      • Left click on a letter to remove it.
      • Left click on the back button to undo the letter you just removed.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers:
      • Tap on a letter to remove it.
      • Tap on the back button to return a letter you previously removed.
  • Controls and indicators
    • The game’s controls and indicators are shown on the top row. From left to right they are as follows:
      • X button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
      • Timer and score
      • Speaker button: Turns the game’s audio on or off
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Remove letters to form valid English words.
      • Left click or tap on a letter to remove them.
      • You can make more than one word from each jumbled mix of letters.
      • The words can be proper nouns and plurals.
    • You can put back letters you recently removed using the arrow button.
    • Finish the word as fast as you can. The timer on the top row will gradually contract.
    • If you run out of time, you lose.
  • Scoring
    • In general, the longer or more obscure the word, the higher its total score.
    • Some letters will have bonuses if you incorporate them into the word. These will be shown on the top right of the letter.
  • Game modes
    • Levels:
      • Unlocking
        • You start the game with only the first level unlocked.
        • Levels are unlocked sequentially. You must finish one level to play the next.
        • You can replay any of the levels you’ve already unlocked.
        • There are 30 levels in this game.
      • Gameplay
        • You have 10 words to unlock.
        • Gain a rating based on how well you perform:
          • Each game has a level rating based on stars.
          • The more points you earn from each level, the higher your score.
        • Each level has a highest possible score based on the words you can form.
    • Infinite
      • Keep finding as many words as you can.
      • The game ends when you run out of time.
    • Daily
      • Each day, you get a special set of words to find.
      • It takes several hours before you can play this mode again.
