Zizo Adventure Platformer Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Click on the START button in the center of the game’s welcome screen.
    • This will bring up the level select screen.
    • Initially only the first level is accessible.
    • Each time you beat a level you unlock another level.
    • Your web browser automatically stores which of the 20 levels you have completed.
• Game Controls

    • Use the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard to move left or right.
    • Tap the up arrow key once to jump. Tap the up arrow key twice to double jump.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Use the on screen controls to move.
    • The left and right move buttons are in the lower left corner.
    • The jump button is in the lower right corner.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The game has a pause button in the upper left corner and a home button in the upper right corner.
    • The level number is displayed at the top of the game in the center of the screen.

  • Gameplay
    • Move right to the end of the level while avoiding dangerous obstacles.
    • Avoid enemies or stomp on them to kill them.
      • Only the enemies which walk along the ground or the flying bullets can be destroyed by jumping on them.
      • Jumping on the bouncing red blocks on level 6 kills you as you can’t hit them.
  • Dying
    • If you run into an enemy you die. You only get 1 hit point in this game.
    • You get unlimited continues in this game & start at the begging of the level when you continue.
  • Strategy
    • Levels do not have a time limit BUT you only have a single hit point, so it makes sense to solve sequences in chunks and pause in between complex areas where you are safe and there are no enemies.
    • As much as possible you should pick off enemies when they are isolated rather than passing through many at once, as when you hit enemies you bounce up, which can cause you to bounce into one of the rotating chains or leave you out of position when a flying bullet comes through.
    • This game is quite difficult with bullets regularly flying in the second level, the third level having platform jumps with spinning chains on them, the sixth level having dozens of bouncing orange blocks which are hard to avoid, and the seventh level combining the spinning chains with the orange blocks.
